Fusion Sunshine Coast

This Saturday, 5th May at the Alcooringa Centre there will be a Grand Cent Auction. This is a fundraising initiative being run by the parents of one of our young people who is raising money to go with Fusion to the U.K during the London Olympics to run festivals for the communities over there. There is great things up for auction and also a lucky door prize with the chance to win a holiday! Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start and entry is $3, which includes one sheet of tickets and a lucky door prize entry! The date for this year’s annual vision dinner will be Saturday 18th August.  Please put the date in your diary.  More details will follow!

We have some Entertainment Booklets for sale. These voucher booklets consist of heaps of vouchers and discounts for various businesses and hotels, and are great for fundraising. They cost $65, and if you pre-order, you will also get over $170 worth of additional offers. If you would like them posted to you, there is a postage and handling cost of $9.50, otherwise you can pick them up from our office (location listed on our ‘Contact Us‘ page).

Our team leaders Jesse and Marie O’Neil, were presented with the “Wortley Youth Encouragement Award” at the Fisher Community Australia Day Awards, on the 26th of January 2012.

Come and hear stories from the work of Fusion Sunshine Coast over the past year. Hear about the developments in Youth Work, the Low-Ropes Course and the Streetwork Bus project. Also support the students who are graduating from their certificate courses with Fusion.

This will be held on Wednesday the 16th of November from 7pm-8pm at 176 Ballinger Road, Buderim. Supper will be provided.

We were meant to have our “Death by Chocolate” themed daytrip this Saturday; but unfortunately we have had to cancel it. This is due to wet weather and a lack of numbers.
The next daytrip however; will still be going ahead at this stage.
